The Geomancer is the 16th job in Minute Frontier.

Overview[]

The Geomancer is a magic user, wearing a blue sleeping cap ending in a white puff ball, a blue over cloak, a white undershirt and light brown shoes. The job is unlocked by defeating Tono and progressing to 4.5km.

Strategy[]

The Geomancer, in kin to the Wizard and Sorceress, is a job centered around magical attacks rather than physical, prioritizing the Staff as their weapon on choice.

What makes the Geomancer stand out among the crowd is their unique stat growth spread. Unlike the previous Wizard and their fixation on Intelligence and Mentality, the Geomancer covers these two stats less intensively, instead spreading out their growth among HP and vitality. For Staff players, providing some bulk alongside growing Intelligence is a great asset, as many magical jobs tend to neglect these other important stats.

Similarly to the Wizard, the Geomancer makes an attempt to demonstrate how elemental weapon types can allow Intelligence to support other weapons besides the Staff, as they have access to multiple Elemental Ups. This ability boost the effect Intelligence has on elemental weapon damage. The Geomancer's Aqua Lance and Leaf Rod to boost their respective types and deal bonus damage as INT increases, having the stat as a substitute for the lack of POW. However, the effect is not strong enough to overcome the base weapon bonus of 0.90 on the Spear, which is a shame given the intent of this job is so clear.
